Walking down a lonely road with no one by your side |
Every children has a right to be loved and live within a happy home with a happy family.......What exactly do we mean with when we say a happy family?Care to find out?
5 Characteristics of Strong, Healthy and Happy Families
I’m
sure you’ve heard the adage, “The family that plays and/or prays
together, stays together.”
What makes families strong and healthy? How can I encourage my children to be close and get along with each other? How can I foster a good relationship with my children? These questions have been on the minds of parents for years.
What makes families strong and healthy? How can I encourage my children to be close and get along with each other? How can I foster a good relationship with my children? These questions have been on the minds of parents for years.
There are - at least - 5 characteristics of strong, healthy and happy families. These characteristics also apply to strong and healthy marriages and couples without children for whatever reason.
#1.SHARED FUN
Life is busy, but a healthy family makes time to share meals, games, a trip or other activities. This provides time to talk, bond, encourage each other and form a family identity. Children feel secure in a family that makes time together a priority.
#2. COMMUNICATION
Families that can really share their feelings can work out conflict more easily and more quickly. The members will know more about each other and what each person needs.
#3.RESPECT
Children should respect their parents, but in a happy family, everyone should feel he is important and contributing. The family should place a high value on respecting others.

#4. BOUNDARIES
Every game has rules. All through life, we know what
we're allowed to do and what is wrong. In a family, children need clear
boundaries about household rules. This actually makes it easier on children to
stay within their boundaries. Even adults in families have boundaries by
acknowledging that there are ways to treat other people that are acceptable.
#5. IDENTITY
Having a family
identity helps children and adults feel they belong in a group defined by
special characteristics. There are hunting families, sports families and
families that love literature and reading. Your family can have several shared
passions that make your family special.
But, there is a saying that "Not all you expect will happen in the future." Why???
We may not be aware of what is happening now but there is an increase in number of cases of "child abuse" all over the world...
WHAT IS CHILD ABUSE?
-Refers to
the maltreatment, whether habitual or not, of the child which includes any of
the following:
> Psychological and physical abuse, neglect, cruelty, sexual abuse and
emotional maltreatment.
>Any act by deeds or words which debases, degrades or demeans the intrinsic worth and dignity of a child as a human being.
>Unreasonable deprivation of his basic needs for survival, such food and shelter.
>Failure to immediately give medical treatment to an injured child resulting in a serious impairment of his growth and development or in his capacity or even death.

1. PHYSICAL ABUSE

2. EMOTIONAL ABUSE
~Emotional child abuse
is an action that damages the child’s development and mental health. It can
vary from simple verbal insult or constant criticism to a severe punishment
like extreme rejection. The action can come from parties, sibling, teachers,
friends, and other people. This type of child abuse is usually difficult to
prove. That is why some organizations that deal in child protective movements
may not be able to interfere without any proof of mental injury to the
children.
3. SEXUAL ABUSE
~Sexual abuse is an action of tempting or forcing a child
to perform sexual activities like prostitution, whether the child knows what is
happening or not. This involves physical contact as penetrative or
non-penetrative acts. The so-called penetrative act can be defined as rape in
which there is a forced penetration of vagina and penis. It can also be
identified by a sexual penetration of anus or vagina of a child with an object
or part of the body. In addition, it also involves the non-contact activities
like allowing the child to look abusive images or watching sexual activities
and other photos that show phonographs.
4. NEGLECT ABUSE
~The most common type of child abuse is neglect. More
children are experiencing from neglect child abuse than sexual and physical
abuse. However, the bad thing about this type of child abuse is that the
victims are not identified because it is considered as an omission act. This
action is a scheme of falling to provide the children’s needs, most especially
for, clothes, right way of discipline and education.
WHAT WOULD BE THE EFFECTS OF THIS TO THE PERSON?
> anxiety problem
> eating disorders
>depression
>insomnia
>panic
>sexual dysfunction
>suicidal idealization behavior
>develop a range of maladaptive,anti-social and self-destructive behaviors and thoughts
> always has an unexplainable fear when they remember their experience of abuse
> do not develop self-confidence
>does not trust anybody or afraid to do so
But not all the victims are affected.......
Even the people who does the evil act are affected. They continuously abuse the child until such time they that get used to it which might result to hitting other children, not only their own. Also, those who discover the victims' situations and their experiences of abusive acts, are affected. The feeling of empathy and sadness towards the victim is an immediate response and anger for the abuser. Some would try to ignore it but others, with no second thoughts, will move and act to help the victims and make sure that the abuser will pay!!
WHAT CAN BE THE POSSIBLE WAYS OR TO LIGHTEN THEIR SUFFERINGS AND MOVE ON WITH THEIR LIVES AS NORMAL PERSONS?
Victims of child abuse seek therapy for a number of reasons. Most therapists claim that victims of such have developed many problems such as eating disorders, depression, anxiety disorders and more. Since victims of childhood abuse are most likely affected not only physically but psychologically, it is important to help them move on and start a new life thus the following ways may give a hand on how to deal with these kinds of situations:

"Every child have their own rights and freedom:"
-Laws or Rights of a child:
-The State shall intervene on behalf of the child when the
parent, guardian, teacher or person having care or custody of the child fails
or is unable to protect the child against abuse, exploitation and
discrimination or when such acts against the child are committed by the said
parent, guardian, teacher or person having care and custody of the
same.
It shall be the policy of the State to protect and
rehabilitate children gravely threatened or endangered by circumstances which
affect or will affect their survival and normal development and over which they
have no control.
* Article XV THE FAMILY Section 3.2
-The state shall defend: The right of children to
assistance, including proper care and nutrition, and special protection from
all forms of neglect, abuse, cruelty, exploitation, and other conditions
prejudicial to their development.
A child is a person who is going to be a teen at age 13, and
an adult at 18. They maybe a “brat” or your worst nightmare, but it is only a
stage.
Child abuse is one of the most disgusting social problems
nowadays. It is refined as a variety of unlawful actions directed against
children. The main cause of child abuse is the financial crisis which comes
with lack of education and industrial opportunities to parents. This also
belongs to the category of human trafficking which indicates forcing of the
underage children to work for the purpose of feeding their family.
Child abuse is serious stuff. There are so many children who
died, who was not ready to enter heaven. It is like committing suicide, but the
child does not wish to die. The child is just a fragile boy or girl who has a
lot to live for.
